Creative Visible Mending – Patching Join us for this hand-sewing workshop and learn how to creatively patch your clothes and textiles. During this three hour session you will learn hand-sewing skills, enabling you to mend your beloved clothing from jeans to shirts, dresses and beyond. You will be encouraged to get creative with a variety of stitches, learning how to work them for both practical and decorative purposes. Practising on swatches of denim and light weight cotton you will learn the different methods to securely mend and lovingly give a new lease of life to worn and torn garments. This is a beginner friendly class, all the equipment and materials will be provided. If you have an item of clothing you would like patching advice on please feel free to bring along.
