This Hollywood Regency coffee table comes from Italy, from the most likely late 1970s or early 1980s. Although its authorship cannot be confirmed with certainty, the choice of materials (like luxurious walnut burlap and extremely thick beveled edge glass) resembles Willy Rizzo’s iconic furniture designs from the period. Overall dimensions are H: 36 / W: 116 / D: 115 cm. The table combines walnut burlap wood, black lacquer, and a thick square glass top to create a bold yet elegant composition. The glass top with a gently curved edge appears to float above the base, supported by four large black spheres finished with walnut accents. This sculptural detail gives the table its unmistakable character while emphasizing the glamorous, geometric aesthetic associated with Hollywood Regency or Art Deco design.
