Street Magic® 6061 Billet Oil Filter Housing With 30 Micron Stainless Steel Reusable Filter. This comes as a fully assembled kit including a stainless steel 30 micron oil filter and tools to deconstruct the housing when cleaning or replacing the filter. Stainless steel filters offer a higher flow rate of oil, superior durability, and are reusable compared to OEM style paper filters. These filter housings are also compatible with other filter types such as a standard paper filters as long as the filter dimensions match those of the Stainless Steel version. These qualities mean that a stainless filter wont disintegrate as they're made from stainless steel mesh and you have less oil restriction. However these filters are best for use in high performance vehicles and vehicles that get regular oil changes such as vehicles that get track use often or that are dedicated racecars. For daily driven vehicles or vehicles are predominantly used as a road car a good quality paper filter is best. These are 74mm O.D with a standard 3/4-16 UNF fitting, so fit most screw in type filter styles meaning these are a viable upgrade for lots of different engine set ups, not just set ups using oil filter relocation kits.
