With the help of his uncle Yang, who had been cultivating coffee for many years, he founded the Red Dragon Estate, located in the mountains of the Lujiangba region - a high-altitude valley renowned for producing quality coffee. After investing in his own education in coffee, Lao Wang established his company Voiceless in 2019. The name represents Lao Wang's belief that good coffee speaks for itself, with no one having to explain its quality. Since its founding, he steadily improved his cultivation methods and began to experiment in coffee processing, often taking inspirations from other producers represented at World Coffee Championships. This lot of Typica cherries were handpicked, and only the ripest cherries were selected through floatation methods. The cherries were then placed in a fermentation tank, and placed in a controlled temperature of 22 degrees Celcius for optimum results. Then, the cherries were sun-dried on raised beds for around 30 days. The result of Lao Wang's commitment to quality has resulted in a unique coffee with sweet and juicy mouthfeel of blackberries, with a citric acidity of grapefruits, and soothing nutty tones of barley tea.
