A Hap for Harriet by Kate Davies
We love a shawl with an interesting construction and an intriguing mix of soothing texture (think garter stitch) and engaging lace – and Kate Davies' A Hap for Harriet has both! Not only that, it's also one of the delightful patterns that is very straightforward in terms of yarn management: It takes two skeins of our Seafarer Lace, and you increase until you're finished with the first skein, and then decrease your way through the second one. Originally designed for our discontinued Alpaca Supreme, our lovely sample knitter Jane knit this sample in our Seafarer Lace yarn, in the colourway Lyngbakr. We think that this shawl works really well in any wardrobe, and have added a rainbow of additional colour options!
