CTCC is a national education initiative designed to introduce students—particularly Black youth—to real-world career pathways early, in an engaging and practical way. Through activity-based booklets (digital and print), students explore: Real community challenges Careers that address those challenges Hands-on activities that build confidence and critical thinking This is not just awareness—it’s a pathway from learning to opportunity. 🔷 SECTION 3: WHAT SCHOOLS RECEIVE Participating schools and boards will receive: ✅ Digital version (unlimited distribution) ✅ Printed copies (through sponsored distribution) ✅ Classroom-ready, activity-based materials ✅ Career pathway content across multiple sectors ✅ Family/community resource sections There is no cost to participate. 🔷 SECTION 4: WHY THIS MATTERS Across Canada, many students are not exposed early enough to the full range of career opportunities available to them. CTCC addresses this gap by: Introducing careers early Increasing engagement through culturally relevant content Supporting equity and career development goals Connecting classrooms to real-world opportunities This builds on over 30 years of impact through the LEGACY Poster—used in schools and communities across Canada.
