The card has information about the artist, artefact and design. Gaan the Snake is a very clever hunter and only ever takes what he needs. Warmer weather sees snakes out and about looking for food and shelter & its mating time. Snakes can move more quickly in the warmer months, and in our country mostly hiberate in the cooler months - but can be seen out if there is a warm day. All our wangim are made from timber collected from tree roots or branches that have a natural bend. All designs are based on traditional symbols from South East Australia
