Fruit is sourced from red and black (as well as Rutherglen’s brown) Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains mutations. Ageing in hogsheads and barriques dials up the richness (360g/l residual sugar), unleashing bourbon and marzipan-like nutty notes to its boozy Christmas pudding and medjool date flavor. Moreish, not mawkish, with savory chicory coffee notes and deftly balanced acidity.
