Hybridlärche (Larix eurolepis)

The Hybridlärche (Larix eurolepis) combines traits from European and Japanese larches, growing faster and stronger than its parent species. It is suitable for mid to high elevations in Southern Germany, more resistant to larch bark beetle, and better adapted to dry conditions.

• It grows faster and shows greater vigor than both parent species.
• It is less susceptible to larch bark beetle than European larch.
• It tolerates dry conditions better than Japanese larch.
