Legends of Kermit Lynch, Tuesday April 21
Few importers command the respect and myth of Kermit Lynch, a man from Bakersfield who headed north to Berkeley and changed the way that wine in America looks today when he began bringing in Burgundian legends followed by Tempier, Vieux-Telegraphe, Raveneau, and the Beaujolais heavy-hitters. On Tuesday, April 21, we have the honor of presenting a lineup of gems from Kermit Lynch's portfolio with KLM's own Bickham Kelly. These are some of my favorite bottles from a book whose breadth and depth boggles the mind. From the sandy shores of Liguria where Punta Crena produces the only Mataòssu we've ever encountered to the wild hills of Friuli where Vignai da Duline makes one of the most singular Malvasia bottlings I've tasted to date. We'll drink the sparkling wines of Catherine & Pierre Breton, the fruit-laden reds of Comte Abbatucci, and the Mediterranean romance of Clos Sainte Magdeleine + so much more. The evening includes wine tasting, a light spread of snacks, and 10% off all bottles featured on the tasting. BONUS: If you join wine club, you receive 10% off all ticketed events at the shop (limit 2 tickets per event). Tuesday, April 21, 2026 6:30 - 8:30pm Seating is highly limited **If attendance is not possible or event is cancelled, we'll send a gift card of equal value.
