This is what happens when 100% rye whisky leans into its sweeter side. Aged 3.5 – 4.5 years in a mix of ex-bourbon and new oak casks, it was blended to capture that unmistakable candy shop nostalgia. The nose opens with maraschino cherry syrup, red gummy candies, and fizzy cola. On the palate, sweet nougat meets sarsaparilla spice, finishing with a hint of polished antique wood from the oak. It’s fruity and a little mischievous, like ignoring the “no sampling” sign and sneaking a handful of candy from the bulk bins at the grocery store.
