Antique Car Carriage Kerosene Lamp Dietz Eureka USA Patent 1904-14

Excellent example of small tail kerosene lamp used in early 1900’s for carriages or early automobiles for safety signaling. The lamp has a front 3 inch clear magnifying lens and one big ruby red bulls eye 2 inch lens in the back. The lamp has a embossed trademark of the maker on the chimney cover : Dietz Eureka Patented July-26-04, May-18-08, February-10-14. The lamp comes with hinged wick access door, original mounting bracket and side wick adjustment knob. A small dent present near the front lenses and the chimney is slightly bent. Dimensions: 7 inches height and 2 inches base. Great display item !!!
