Mala made of silver-leaf jasper with a double vajra

A distinctive mala made of 108 marbled jasper beads in gray, beige, and olive green, interspersed with rust-brown and nearly black stones. At the bottom hangs a double vajra made of gold-plated copper, whose warm golden hue contrasts with the muted colors of the stones. The double vajra (Vishvavajra) connects four vajras to form a cross and is regarded in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition as a symbol of unshakable strength—there, it appears as the foundation upon which the mandala and the World Mountain rest.
