2026 100th Anniversary of the Birth of HM Queen Elizabeth II Sovereign Set of 3

Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II this 3-coin Gold Sovereign Set features a design by celebrated artist John Bergdahl. Elizabeth was born in London and was the first child of the Duke & Duchess of York. Her father acceded to the throne in 1936 when his brother, Edward VIII abdicated. Elizabeth was 10 years old at the time and this made her heir presumptive. When her father, King George VI died in February 1952, the 25 years old Princess Elizabeth became Queen. She married Philip Mountbatten in November 1947 and had four children – Charles, Anne, Andrew and Edward. Their marriage lasted 73 years until his death in 2021. Queen Elizabeth II had been Queen Regnant of 32 sovereign states during her lifetime and was the Monarch of 15 realms at the time of her death on 8th September 2022.
