150g Pasture-Raised Biltong
Traditional South African biltong made from pasture-raised Free State beef. Air-dried with coriander, salt and vinegar. About the beef The cattle this comes from grazed Free State grasslands year-round. Grass-fed beef makes deeper biltong — the meat dries slower, the flavour concentrates more, and the fat sets cream-white rather than yellow. You can see the difference before you taste it. How to enjoy it Slice thin against the grain — the way it's shaved off a stick at the butcher. Eat as is, scatter over a salad, or crumble through scrambled eggs. Keeps well in a lunchbox or anywhere a kid might find it. Storage Keep it in a cool, dry place in a paper bag — biltong needs to breathe, plastic makes it sweat. If you want it softer for longer, store it in the fridge. Best within 2 weeks of opening.
