Beginning and Continuing Handbuilding/Surface Decoration with Carol Gouthro

Make festive and colorful dinnerware, flower vases, covered containers, and sculptural forms in this beginning and continuing handbuilding class. Demonstrations will include slab-building, coil techniques, press molds, and alternative forming and altering techniques. You will get a thorough introduction to the wide spectrum of the low-fire underglaze and glaze palette, as well as the enhancing tones of slips and stains.
