The Better Principle at the Sink We applied our Triangle of Trade-offs to engineer a hand wash that actually cleanses without punishing your skin for frequent washing. Conventional liquid hand soaps almost always rely on aggressive sulphated surfactants (like SLS or SLES) to create a cheap, massive foam. That exact chemical action violently strips the natural lipid barrier from your hands, leaving them dry, cracked, and irritated, before masking the damage with synthetic perfumes. That is a hard pass from us. Instead, we use incredibly mild, plant-derived cleansers (like lauryl glucoside) paired with hydrating glycerine made from rapeseed and soya. We scent our wash purely with therapeutic essential oils: Lemongrass to naturally deeply cleanse, and Lavender to gently eliminate bacteria while calming the senses. The result is luxuriously soft, genuinely clean hands achieved with simple, earth-safe ingredients. Frequently Asked Questions Will washing my hands frequently with this dry them out? No. In fact, it should do the exact opposite. Most commercial hand soaps use harsh sulphates that actively strip your skin's protective lipid barrier, which is why your hands feel tight and dry after washing. By completely omitting sulphates and using natural, sugar-derived cleansers alongside plant-based glycerine, our hand wash effectively removes dirt and bacteria while leaving your skin's natural moisture barrier perfectly intact. Why doesn't this foam up into a massive mountain of bubbles? Massive bubbles are a chemical illusion. Commercial soaps use cheap sulphates specifically to create huge foam, tricking you into thinking it's working better. We use mild, plant-derived cleansers. Because we refuse to use synthetic homogenisers to artificially bind our formula together permanently.
