The 4TheWall HDMI HDBaseT Extender is a high-performance professional AV extension solution designed to transmit HDMI video and audio together with USB 2.0, IR, RS-232 and CEC control signals over distances of up to 100m / 328ft using a single CAT5e/6 cable. The transmitter converts the HDMI signal into a standard HDBaseT signal for reliable transmission over category cable to the receiver. Supporting up to 18Gbps video bandwidth and resolutions up to 4K@60Hz with 4:4:4 color sampling, the system delivers detailed Ultra HD video with accurate color reproduction over long distances. USB 2.0 extension enables compatible peripheral devices such as keyboards, mice, touchscreens and cameras to be operated remotely. Bi-directional IR and RS-232 pass-through, together with CEC support, provides flexible control of compatible source and display devices from either end of the installation. Advanced EDID management with COPY TV and STD modes helps optimize video and audio compatibility between the source and display devices. The receiver also supports audio de-embedding, allowing the HDMI audio signal to be routed to an external audio system. Bi-directional PoC technology allows both the transmitter and receiver to be powered using a single power adapter. This reduces additional power cabling and provides a cleaner, simpler and more flexible installation.
