Gravestone Symbolism - Eternity Giclee

This small set of paintings was created for the Trading Card Art Show on show through the end of December 2017 at the Gristle Art Gallery. I have been very invested in learning about the history of cemetery symbolism, and the colors that occur naturally in cemeteries. This series consisting of Ascend, Eternity, and Descend pulls from iconography relevant to me and my lost family members. Eternity is an upside down torch with a lit flame that will ultimately extinguish itself. This print measures 3.5"x 5" on heavy cardstock.
