Plumbing & Electrical Service Relocation For Hot Water System Installations Need the hot water services moved to a new location? This Installed Today service relocation package is designed for eligible hot water system installations where the unit is being installed in a different position and the existing plumbing and electrical services need to be extended or relocated to suit the new location. This add-on is for moving the services only. It does not include hot water system installation parts such as valve kits, slabs, bases, drainage upgrades or other installation extras unless they are included with the separate hot water installation product or quoted separately. What’s Included This service relocation package includes: Up to 30 metres of hot and cold water pipework relocation Up to 15 metres of electrical cable run Relocation of the existing hot water electrical supply to the new approved location OR installation of a new dedicated hot water circuit where required and where the existing switchboard is suitable Licensed plumbing labour to reroute water services from the existing hot water system position to the new installation location Licensed electrical labour to relocate the electrical supply or install the included new circuit allowance Standard pipework, fittings, cable and electrical materials required to move the services within the included allowance Disconnection/capping from the old hot water service position where required for the relocation Basic testing of the relocated plumbing and electrical services once completed Electrical Inclusion The electrical component includes either: Relocation of the existing hot water electrical supply to the new approved hot water system location OR Installation of a new dedicated hot water circuit where required, including up to 15 metres of electrical cabling Electrical work is subject to site access, cable route, switchboard suitability, available capacity and compliance requirements. Suitable For This product may be suitable when: Your new hot water system is being installed in a different location The existing hot water system position is no longer suitable You are moving the hot water system outside You are relocating the system for better access The existing location does not suit the replacement unit A renovation, extension or layout change requires the hot water service to move You need plumbing and electrical services extended to a new compliant hot water location You need either the existing electrical supply relocated or a new dedicated circuit installed for the new position Important Installation Notes This product must be purchased with an eligible supplied-and-installed hot water system installation. This package only covers the relocation of plumbing and electrical services within the included allowances. The new hot water system location must be accessible, suitable and compliant. Final suitability will depend on site access, pipe route, electrical route, drainage position, wall type, property layout, switchboard condition and compliance requirements. Any work outside the included allowance may require an additional quote before work proceeds. A licensed plumber and licensed electrician will need to confirm the final relocation requirements. If the service relocation is more complex than the included allowance, additional costs may apply before the work can proceed.
