This unique combo of a naturally processed Burundi and a washed microlot from Peru is crafted for those who like their coffee fun, flavorful, and never boring. Our most unique and surprising coffee release of the year! Tasting Notes The fresh grind wafts with notes of blueberry and sugar cookies. In the brew, notes of sweet berry jam take center stage; with hints of warm lemon bars, white grape, and a soft fruited acidity with a smooth chocolate and caramel aftertaste. Two incredible coffees complementing each other like you and your best Wingman! Roast Level Roast Level: Medium Coffee Story Wingman is a 50/50 blend of two outstanding lots. The first one is sourced from Burundi's remote Muyinga Province, it’s a natural-process coffee from the Hafi washing station, established to give remote local farmers access to same-day cherry processing. The result is a silky, fruit-forward cup, showcasing the unique terroir of this emerging specialty coffee region. Pair that with a washed Peruvian grown by María Nieves Tantalean in the highlands of Cajamarca, this coffee reflects her dedication to quality and sustainable farming. Carefully hand-harvested, meticulously fermented, and shade-dried on raised beds, it produces a beautifully balanced cup with delicate floral notes layered over a rich chocolate foundation.
