2021 Viña Cobos ‘Hobbs Estate’ Cabernet Sauvignon

JD97 The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Hobbs Estate Agrelo is made from Hobbs’ first estate vineyard, planted in 2012 to both Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is entirely varietal from different sections of the vineyard with varied soils. Hobbs separates the blocks by soil and ferments them separately. Featuring a classic Cabernet nose of currant, iron, and graphite, the wine has soft, rich layers of integrated tannin and oak. The luxurious mouthfeel leads to layers of complexity and well-resolved tannin. It has 10-20 years of aging potential.
