Our Healing Salve is a rich, handmade herbal balm crafted with homegrown stinging nettle, comfrey root and leaf, yarrow, calendula, plantain, and lavender, slowly infused into organic olive oil and blended with beeswax. Made in small batches by Holt Homestead, this salve was created for dry, hardworking, weather-worn skin — the kind of skin that comes from gardening, homesteading, working with your hands, and spending time outdoors. This traditional herbal blend features plants long used to support skin comfort and care. Stinging nettle is traditionally used to calm irritated skin, while calendula, plantain, yarrow, comfrey, and lavender are valued in folk herbal traditions for supporting minor skin irritations, rough patches, and everyday wear and tear. Use it on rough hands, dry patches, cracked heels, minor scrapes, and weather-worn skin whenever your skin needs extra care and nourishment. The herb-infused olive oil helps soften and comfort the skin, while beeswax creates a light protective barrier that helps seal in moisture.
