We have lovingly restored this item by stripping off the old, darker finish to reveal the lighter grain of the wood underneath. We have then applied a clear matt lacquer which accentuates the beauty of the oak grain and ensures that the wood is protected and durable. This piece is constructed from a mixture of oak and veneer; drawer bases are plywood.
