Nearly There Trees ORIGINAL ART WORK
This artwork captures the beauty of the Nearly There trees in my characteristic style. The foliage on the trees is a playful explosion of beautiful summer colours. This group of over 100 beech trees, growing in a circle on Lifton Hill, are a well-known sight that signifies the approaching end of a journey for those travelling to Cornwall. As a St Ives lover, I always look out for these trees on the side of the A30 as their presence means I am nearly there at my happy place! Themes in my work often vary because my thoughts are always shifting. Some days, I’m drawn to serene landscapes that reflect a calm state of mind, while other times, I explore more abstract compositions that capture moments of intense emotion. Created through the medium of acrylic paint applied to canvas, I use various techniques such as blending, splattering and layering to create highly textured and utterly unique pieces of art. While my paintings are deeply personal, I love that each viewer can interpret them differently. What’s on my mind might evoke something entirely different in someone else, and that’s the beauty of art. If you have any questions at all please do get in touch! I love nothing more than my pieces finding their forever home! Size: 61x51cm Signed by the artist with a certificate of authenticity
