Bike Custom (remove freewheel)

This customization option is available only when purchased together with a complete bike. Your bike will be delivered with the freewheel already removed. The listed price covers labor only. And one that begins with removing the freewheel. Once you get used to riding fixed, there is a good chance you will never go back. Not because anyone is stopping you, but because fixed gear is simply more fun. A freewheel usually weighs around 200 grams. That is fairly heavy for a part whose main job may soon become “something you never use.” So, if you already know you do not need it—or strongly suspect you will forget it exists within a few weeks—you may as well remove it from the start. Your bike gets lighter, your rear wheel looks cleaner, and your commitment becomes slightly harder to deny. The removed freewheel will be included with your complete bike. You can keep it in case you ever change your mind, display it as a small monument to your former life, or spin it repeatedly and enjoy the clicking sound whenever you need to relieve a little stress.
