Aphelion, "Brini," McLaren Vale, Australia, Grenache, 2022

Sourced from the 85 year old bush vines of the Upper Tank Block on the Brini vineyard in the Blewitt Springs sub-region of McClaren Vale. This block has been a staple of Aphelion from their first vintage and forms the backbon of the Aphelion Confluence Grenache. Sandy based loam soils, a south facing aspect, and a brisk breeze up the hill provide fruit that gives intensity and a brooding edge.
