Old World vs. New World

Have you ever heard someone use the terms ‘Old World’ and ‘New World?’ These terms have historic implications when talking about wine. They could be describing a wines’ origin or it’s stylistic qualities. Join us for this unique class at The Raleigh Wine Shop while Matt Fern leads a tasting of wines from both the Old World and New World to illustrate the differences in grape growing, winemaking, labeling, serving, and enjoying.
