Our supplier's journey to find these unique pendants is worth telling. He had a dream about jars full of figures one night and the next day was walking through the countryside, and by chance stumbled upon a place overflowing with these historical figurines in jars. Pachamama, also known as Mother Earth, is a highly respected deity among the indigenous population of the Andes. According to Inca mythology, Pachamama is a constant and autonomous goddess who governs fertility, oversees the cultivation and reaping of crops, and is responsible for seismic activity. Crafted by hand between 1960 and 1970 using clay, these beads are considered highly rare and can serve as a unique conversation starter.
