His Holiness the Dalai Lama Birthday Program Schedule: - 8:30 am: Incense Burning Prayer for His Holiness Long Life. - 8:55 am: Venerable Monks, Board, Staffs, Students, Friends and Tibetan Association members will assemble at Outdoor Stage. 9:00 – 10:40 am Prayer for the Long Life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama followed by Ceremonial Tea and Sweet Rice. 10:30 – 10:40 Introductory Talk by Mr, Tenzin Lodoe -President of Tibetan Association of Ithaca. 10:40 – 11:00 Venerable Tenzin Choesang President of Namgyal Monastery will talk on the significance of the day. 11:00 – 11:15 His Holiness the Dalai Lama Birthday Cake Cutting by Chief Guest the Mayor of Ithaca. 11-15 – 11:30 Talk by Chief Guest Mayor of Ithaca with official announcement of the proclamation on His Holiness the Dalai Lama Birthday – July - Month of Compassion. 11:30 – 12:00 Cultural performance by Ithaca Tibetan Association. 12:00 – 1:00 pm Lunch Hosted by Ithaca Tibetan Association All in the community are invited and welcome to attend outdoor Celebration of His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai lama Birthday.
