Vintage Nickel Plated Pocket Compass c.1920
An early 20th century nickel plated brass box pocket Compass, dating from c.1900s - 1930s. The dial features the classic Francis Barker-type maritime card design. Although there are no maker's marks, it may possibly have been made by Barker. The compass has a nickel plated case with push-fit lid, paper dial, brass pivot, and thick bevelled glass. Condition: In very good condition, full working order, and points strongly to North. The case has a few minor marks, and there is a very small blemish to the edge of the glass. There are a few specks of dust under the glass. The compass card is in very good condition. Dimensions: 50mm diameter x 14mm height
