lightning on the horizon

With a sound reminiscent of lighting striking in the far horizon of the ocean, this circuit has extremely harmonically rich and complex tones that add a layer of a highly balanced tonal complexity in a way that no other octave up circuit quite does. most other octave up circuit are almost abrasive and harsh, with odd metallic harmonies. this circuit takes the wonderful intricacies that an octave up fuzz provides, but with a much more balanced and musically consonant way. This is a modernized recreation of the roger mayer octavia, done the twilight way. This one is the transformerless version. I could totally be wrong, but I have yet to see another octavia with a bias knob. I have gone forth and added one to this pedal, for a range of broken, gated, sputtery out and dying fuzz to perfectly balanced. As with many vintage fuzzes, your guitar is apart of the circuit. It will interact different with different guitars. Experiment with the guitar controls to discover new sounds. I am a MASSIVE hendrix enthusiast.
