Sven Eriksson (1899-1970), today better known as X, is a significant artist in modern Swedish painting who never allowed himself to be classified under labels or stylistic concepts. His production is characterized by a spontaneous and temperamental style in brilliant color scales. Erixson's painting oscillates between a fierce, almost reckless will to express himself and easily moved lyricism. With exuberant storytelling joy, he portrayed his joy of life and his experiences.
