There is something timeless about the idea of a picnic in the vineyards. A blanket laid out among the vines, a basket filled with local flavours, and the quiet rhythm of the Douro all around you. At Quinta da Gricha, we've created our own interpretation of this classic experience. Taking into account the Douro's warm summer climate, your picnic is set in our peaceful garden, where you can relax in the shade while enjoying privileged views over the estate's vineyards and the Douro Valley. Your picnic basket includes a carefully selected assortment of local cheeses and charcuterie, fresh bread, olives, Nuri tinned fish, seasonal fruit, freshly baked pastries with local jam, bottled water, and coffee and tea available in the kitchen. For an extra touch, you can upgrade your experience with a bottle of Churchill's Grafite White or Red. Before or after your picnic, we invite you to explore Quinta da Gricha on foot and discover the vineyards that shape our wines. Available daily between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.
