Hermès À Travers Champs is Marie Bonnin's second design for the house. It was released in 2018 as a limited edition. Bonnin came to Hermès through a creative workshop run with the Paris School of Decorative Arts. The composition recovers the landscape of the designer's native village in the Auvergne, among the volcanoes of the Massif Central. The motif is built like a board of the game of goose or a labyrinth. A spiral coils around a group of small houses with sloping roofs, bordered by gardens. It extends into fields, orchards, and winding country lanes. The palette combines red, violet, green, and blue.
