Yes. Tapworks recommends this model for households of up to nine people. Does it regenerate every night? No. It is a metered softener that regenerates according to actual water use. When regeneration is required, the default start time is 2:00am. Can it be used with a combi boiler? Yes. Tapworks states that the softener and supplied 22mm installation kit are compatible with combination and unvented boiler systems when correctly installed. What type of salt does it use? Use tablet or pellet water-softener salt only. Granular salt and block salt must not be used. Does the installation kit include hoses? Yes.
