Gorgeous original 1950s dress featuring a striking tassel novelty print in warm brown and black, boldly combined with contrasting black-and-white gingham bands. The fitted bodice, defined waist and generously pleated full skirt create a quintessential 1950s silhouette, while three oversized pearlescent buttons add a wonderful period touch. The skirt is internally supported with fine netting for extra volume. She closes with a side zipper. Made from a textured linen or linen-blend fabric. A fabulous example of playful Mid-Century textile design, with an unusual graphic print and a beautifully dramatic silhouette. Original GU label, size 40.
