S.Tec Duck-R T04/L Back-Up Device The S.Tec Duck-R T04/L Back-Up Device is a new-generation rope access back-up device designed for professional fall protection, rope access and rescue applications. Compact and robust, it provides secondary protection on the safety rope while allowing the user to move efficiently through the rope system. The T04/L combines a durable stainless steel body and spring with an aluminium cam, providing excellent durability while keeping the device lightweight at just 290 g. It is certified to EN 12841:2006 Type A and is suitable for use on 10.5–11 mm kernmantel ropes. A key feature of the T04/L is its suitability for two-person rescue loads up to 200 kg, making it particularly useful for professional rope access technicians who may need their back-up system to accommodate rescue scenarios as well as normal single-user work.
