Octopus of Syracuse 18K Gold Coin Necklace

This gorgeous necklace is the perfect staple for every wardrobe. Nine small 18K yellow gold coins sit symmetrically along the neck, each a casting of the Octopus of Syracuse coin — an octopus on one side and Medusa's head on the other. So it can be worn with either side facing up. The original coin dates to the ancient city of Syracuse, Sicily, 317 BC. We cast from the original and created a series including earrings, a pendant, and a ring.
