Ardbeg Uigeadail 700ml

Named after the loch that supplies the Ardbeg Distillery with its famously pure water, Ardbeg Uigeadail is a bold and uncompromising Islay single malt. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, it masterfully balances Ardbeg's signature peat smoke with rich dried fruit, dark chocolate and warming spice. The nose is deep and complex, bursting with aromas of wood smoke, treacle, raisins and espresso, layered with hints of leather, sea spray and toasted nuts. The palate is rich, oily and full-bodied, delivering intense flavours of smoked bacon, dark toffee, dates, bitter chocolate and black pepper, all wrapped in waves of sweet sherry and earthy peat. The finish is exceptionally long and warming, with lingering smoke, spice, espresso and a touch of salted caramel. Bottled at a higher strength and non-chill filtered, Ardbeg Uigeadail is a benchmark Islay whisky that offers remarkable depth, intensity and balance.
