VAT) This limited edition by Télémaque is released on the occasion of his first institutional show in the UK, A Hopscotch of the Mind. Reflecting the unique and playful visual vocabulary of his exhibition, this print is a ‘sketch’ of abstract gestures, a puzzle that resembles what might become cartoon-like imagery. Traces of past pencil lines lie underneath rich block colours and reveal a snippet of the artist’s process when creating the composition: a peak into the mind of Télémaque. This edition encourages the viewer to form their own associations between fragments of the composition and the striking pop of yellow, blue, brown and red.
