An original painting sized 4x6 inches titled 'Maybe We Can Hold Up The World Together,' This painting is a watercolor and acrylic painting created on professional watercolor paper. This painting was inspired by all of the incredible women in my life that I get to observe every day. I see them holding up their homes, their families, their ‘worlds’. I see them being active in their communities, in their ‘villages,’ spreading love and lifting others up. I see it especially when their communities are hurting, or if someone close to them is hurting. These women have a special power within themselves to multiply and spread love, no matter how much they have going on in their own lives. It is truly magical to witness, and I am so grateful to be a part of this collective womanhood. And to clarify, I have absolutely incredible men in my life (including my husband who is the most important person in the world to me). But at the end of the day I am a woman and I love painting about womanhood. I love helping women feel seen and understood, because I feel like we very often are not. This one is for the girlies!
