• Limited Edition of 1000 numbered copies • Cabinet made of American Walnut, 35 x 35 x 35 cm • Eight aluminum coated drawers • Sketchbooks from: – Nuenen (1884-85) – Nuenen, Antwerp, Paris (1885-86) – Paris (1886) – Auvers-sur-Oise (1890) Vincent van Gogh is best known for his colorful paintings, but he also drew a lot. Of the many sketchbooks that Van Gogh must have had, only four survived from the time he was an artist. These sketchbooks are all in the collection of the Van Gogh Museum and because of their vulnerability are very rarely shown in public. For this reason, the Van Gogh Museum has decided to publish the four sketchbooks used in the period 1884-1890, together with two notebooks, a few sketches and a letter as facsimiles in a limited edition.
