This Growers own sparkling wine is from Minho in the Vinho Verde region of Northern Portugal. Made from indigenous Avesso grapes it is a very pleasing easy drinking wine with even bubbles, light and refreshing. Perfect as an aperitif, with canapés, sea food or as they do in Portugal drink with roast pork and crackling Wine Maker This Espumante comes from a small producer in the Vinho Verde region of Northern Portugal. This particular vineyard is family owned and is run by the very enthusiastic and passionate Micaela Fonseca. Originally trained as an architect her love for the vineyard brought her back from the city and she has injected a youthful vibrancy into the wines which are winning awards around the globe. The vineyard itself is in a micro climate which reflects the soil and weather conditions of the Champagne region in France
