60’s Vintage General Electric R488 Portable Radio/Phonograph

GE’s R488 is a rare and sought after collectors piece of vintage mid-century modern electronics and industrial design. With its age, units found today often require maintenance such as a replacement phonograph stylus or belt/idling wheel adjustments to restore full functionality. Great collectors piece for anyone who loves vintage stereo equipment, or 60’s decor. Phonograph functions and plays records, however sound quality is low. A new stylus may improve this.
