Replace the tired OE oil feed on your Discovery 1 200Tdi with a Pioneer 4x4 stainless-braided, PTFE-lined line. The original feed carries hot, pressurised engine oil to the turbocharger bearings, and on these engines the factory pipe hardens, cokes up internally and can crack or weep at the unions — slowly starving the turbocharger of the oil it depends on. Our braided line is built to outlast it. Build specification PTFE Smoothbore core PTFE inner won't perish, swell or coke up like the original rubber — and it won't absorb the hot oil passing through it. SS Stainless braid Corrosion-resistant stainless outer braid shields the core from under-bonnet heat and abrasion. OE-Fit Direct replacement Direct replacement for OE ERR3493 — a straight swap for the original, no modification. The hero feature Why replace your turbo oil feed? The feed does one critical job: deliver a constant supply of clean, pressurised oil to the turbocharger every time the engine runs. The original uses a rubber-sectioned pipe that hardens and perishes with age and heat, while carbon slowly builds inside the bore and restricts flow. Once flow is restricted or the pipe weeps at a union, the assembly is starved of oil — a common cause of premature failure on these engines. The PTFE-lined, stainless-braided line resists heat and oil, keeps a full smooth bore and won't perish, so the oil keeps getting where it needs to go.
