Palate is dense and dessert driven. The proof punches through a bit, nice syrupy character but it's too thick. Oak driven, luxardo cherry, some pipe tobacco, lots of graham cracker, vanilla bean. The finish brightens up: vanilla ice cream, some orange peel, luxardo cherry, a hint of cinnamon and lovely cocoa.
