Insert the callused end about 1 inch (2.5 cm) into a dry, well-draining soil mix. Wait 5–7 days before the first light watering, then water only after the soil has completely dried. Keep the cutting in bright, indirect light until roots develop, typically within 2–6 weeks. Gradually acclimate the rooted plant to stronger sunlight.
