Made In Nepal HORIZON SLEEVELESS Boxy sleeveless top in waffle, cut wide with a squared shoulder and deep dropped armholes bound in flat jersey. "BROCADE" sits small and centred under the collar in dark brown caps. Below it, a soft-focus bird — dark olive back, rust-orange breast — perches on a branch with leaves and berries breaking up above and below, running off the right side of the body and cut by the armhole binding. Muted sand ground, everything in browns and olive so the image sits back into the cloth. Back left clean. That image took four separate screens to build. The bird's body, the rust of the breast, the olive of the leaves and the soft dark of the branch each had to be burned and pulled on its own, one colour laid over the last, waiting between passes.
