What Does Confluence Grenache 2025 Taste Like? Confluence opens with a savoury core of olive and briar, before crunchy raspberry and cranberry begin to emerge. The palate brings Satsuma plum, wild strawberry and fine sandalwood, with fine tannins carrying the wine through a long, savoury finish. There's concentration without heaviness, structure without severity and enough going on that you'll probably find something different every time you return to the glass. How We Made It + The Grenache fruit was hand-picked, with 30% fermented as whole bunches in stainless steel and small concrete open-top fermenters. The wine was matured in a combination of: 1,500L Drunk Turtle cocciopesto Seasoned French 2,800L foudre Demi-muid oak The aim is structure and complexity without allowing oak to dominate the fruit or vineyard character.
